Addofy on multisite: the network index and settings
On a network, Addofy keeps one index of the orders and products of every site, in the table {base_prefix}adba_network_index. It feeds All orders, All products and the search across sites. Changes are written at shutdown from WooCommerce hooks. Run wp adba network index to fill it for existing data.
Extending the index
- Remove a type from the index with
adba_network_index_types, or add your own. - To add a type, queue objects with
\AddoBack\Network\Indexer::queue( 'mytype', $id )and build the row inadba_network_index_row. - Add columns to the overview lists with
adba_network_list_columns. - Narrow the sites a network search runs on with
adba_search_network_sites. Sites a user cannot reach are never added.
Network settings
A network default applies where a site has no value of its own. An enforced key wins over the site value and shows a lock; Config::lock_source() returns network.
The order is: constant, environment variable, network (enforced), site, network (default), default.
User meta
User meta that belongs to one site goes through \AddoBack\Support\SiteUserMeta, which uses the site table prefix on multisite.
In JavaScript
The event search:scope tells which scope the palette searches: this site or the network. Results of a network search carry site, site_name and site_color.
