These AddoCore terms and conditions apply to every order you place on addocore.com and to every contract that follows from it. Please read them before you order. You can save or print this page. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
1. Who we are
- Name: AddoCore (addocore.com), part of Digibitz
- Email: [email protected]
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 73075906
- VAT number: NL002275766B20
“Addocore” is a registered trademark. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean AddoCore, and “you” means the person or organisation that places the order.
2. Definitions
- Consumer: a natural person who does not act for purposes related to their trade, business, craft or profession.
- Business customer: anyone who orders for purposes related to their trade, business, craft or profession. If you enter a company name or a VAT number at checkout, we treat the order as a business order.
- Subscription: a product that is paid for per billing period and renews automatically, as described in article 8.
- Seat (previously “Connection”): one MCP client or person that may use a license or an MCP Hosted seat at the same time.
3. Scope
3.1 These terms apply to all offers, orders and contracts between you and us. If you are a business customer, your own general terms do not apply.
3.2 If a provision of these terms is invalid, the other provisions remain in force. For consumers, nothing in these terms limits the rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.
4. What we sell
The product page shows what a product includes, its price, its billing period and any minimum term. We sell:
- MCP Self-hosted license: a license to install and run the MCP Self-hosted server software on your own infrastructure (self-hosted). Billed yearly; some products can also be paid monthly with a minimum term, which the product page states.
- Tool add-ons and tool bundles: extra tools for an MCP Self-hosted license. Billed per period, like the license they belong to.
- Extra seats: additional seats for an MCP Self-hosted license. Billed per period.
- MCP Hosted seat: a service in which we run MCP for you on our infrastructure, with the tools you choose. Billed monthly or yearly.
- WordPress plugin licenses: licenses for AddoBase add-ons, priced by the number of sites, as a subscription or as a one-time lifetime license. The AddoBase connector plugin itself is free.
- Plugin support years: one year of basic support for a plugin you own with a lifetime license, priced by the number of sites of that license.
- Skills: free downloadable files (€0).
- Custom add-ons: built on request. You send a request form, we send a quote, and a separate agreement applies once you accept it.
5. Your account and how the contract is formed
5.1 You need an account to order. You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and for what happens through your account.
5.2 At checkout you can review and correct your details and your order before you place it. The contract is formed when you place the order with the button that indicates a payment obligation. We confirm the order by email.
5.3 The contract is concluded in English. We store your order; you can see it under My Account → Orders.
5.4 We may refuse an order if there is a well-founded reason, for example suspected fraud or misuse. If we refuse after payment, we refund the full amount.
6. Prices and VAT
6.1 Prices are in euros. By default, the website shows prices including VAT; business customers can switch the display to prices excluding VAT. Before you place your order, the checkout shows the VAT and the total amount you pay.
6.2 Business customers in another EU member state who enter a valid VAT number at checkout are invoiced without Dutch VAT (reverse charge). We check the VAT number when you order. Without a valid VAT number, VAT is charged.
6.3 The price you agreed applies to the billing period you paid for. We may change the price of a subscription for later billing periods. We tell you by email before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel the subscription before that happens.
7. Payment
7.1 Payments are processed by our payment provider Mollie. The available payment methods are shown at checkout.
7.2 For subscriptions, your first payment also sets up a recurring payment authorisation (a mandate) with Mollie, for example by credit card or SEPA Direct Debit. Mollie collects later payments with that mandate on each renewal date. Not every payment method supports this; iDEAL, for example, does not. You can change or remove your saved payment method under My Account → Subscriptions.
7.3 You receive an invoice for each payment.
7.4 If an automatic payment fails, the product keeps working for 7 days while the payment can still be completed. For licenses, add-ons, extra seats and WordPress plugin licenses we tell you by email. If the payment is still open after those 7 days, we suspend the product until the outstanding amount is paid.
8. Term, renewal and cancellation
8.1 Billing period. A subscription runs for the billing period you chose: monthly or yearly, as offered on the product page. Some monthly options have a minimum term (for example 12 months); the product page and the checkout show it.
8.2 Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel, a subscription renews automatically and we collect the payment for the next period with your mandate. For yearly license subscriptions we send a reminder by email before the renewal, unless you turned these reminders off under My Account → Options.
8.3 How to cancel. You can cancel online at any time, without giving a reason:
- Licenses, tool add-ons, tool bundles and extra seats: My Account → MCP Self-hosted, choose Cancel next to the subscription and confirm with Yes, cancel.
- MCP Hosted seats: My Account → MCP Hosted, choose Cancel subscription and confirm with Yes, cancel.
- WordPress plugin licenses: My Account → WordPress plugins, choose Cancel subscription next to the plugin license and confirm with Yes, cancel.
- My Account → Subscriptions lists all your subscriptions and links to the page where you manage each one.
- You can also cancel any subscription by email to [email protected].
8.4 What happens after you cancel. After you cancel, no further payment is collected and the product keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. If a minimum term applies, the remaining payments up to the end of that term are still collected and the product works until then. The cancellation screen shows the exact end date.
8.5 Consumers: after the first term. If you are a consumer, a subscription that renews automatically after its first term continues for an indefinite period. From then on you can cancel at any time with a notice period of no more than one month. If you have already paid for a longer period, we refund the amount for the period after your cancellation takes effect.
8.6 Business customers. If you are a business customer, a subscription renews for the same billing period each time. Cancel before the renewal date to stop the next period. Payments for a period that has started are not refunded.
9. Trials and free products
- MCP Self-hosted trial: a 14-day trial license, once per email address or domain. A trial does not start a subscription and ends automatically.
- MCP Hosted seat: where the product page offers it, the first month is free, once per email address or domain. You do not need to enter payment details. The trial ends automatically after one month and is not converted into a paid subscription. To continue, you place a paid order.
- WordPress plugin trials: the trial length is shown on the product page. A trial covers one site, is available once per customer per add-on and ends automatically, without payment.
- Skills and the AddoBase connector plugin are free.
10. Delivery
10.1 Digital products are delivered as soon as your payment is confirmed. You find license keys and downloads under My Account → MCP Self-hosted, WordPress plugin licenses under My Account → WordPress plugins, skills under My Account → Skills, and the connection details of an MCP Hosted seat under My Account → MCP Hosted.
10.2 Self-hosted software runs on your own infrastructure. You are responsible for meeting the system requirements in our documentation and for installing, securing and updating your own installation.
11. License and use
11.1 With a license you may use the software for the number of installations, seats or sites stated for your product, for as long as the license or subscription is active. The license is not transferable unless we agree in writing.
11.2 The software, documentation and the “Addocore” trademark remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software, or remove or bypass the license check.
11.3 MCP Self-hosted and the AddoBase plugin regularly contact our server to check the license and to receive update information. What they send is described in our privacy policy. If the license is not valid, licensed tools and add-ons stop working until it is valid again.
11.4 You are responsible for the systems you connect, for the credentials you enter for them and for the instructions you give through MCP. Do not use our products for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms our systems or other customers.
11.5 For an MCP Hosted seat, we process the data that passes through your tools on your behalf. If you are a business customer, we act as a processor for that data, and you can request a data processing agreement from us.
11.6 Lifetime licenses for WordPress plugins. A lifetime license is paid once and runs until the end of life of the plugin you bought. Until then you receive updates for that plugin on the number of sites of your license. We announce the end of life of a plugin at least six months in advance, by email to everyone with a lifetime license for it and on the product page. After the end of life the plugin keeps working on your sites with its last version, without updates or support.
11.7 Support with a lifetime license. A lifetime license includes 12 months of basic support from the order date: help by email with setting up and using the plugin, and with problems where it does not work as described. After that you can buy support per year for that plugin. A support year adds 12 months to the end of your current support period, or to the date of purchase if that period has ended. Support never runs past the end of life of the plugin. With a subscription, support is included for as long as the subscription runs.
12. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
12.1 As a consumer you can withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions below. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day the contract was concluded.
12.2 Digital content (licenses, tool add-ons and bundles, extra seats, WordPress plugin licenses): at checkout you ask us to start delivery right away and you confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has started. We confirm this in your order email. Once we have delivered, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to that order. If an order does not have that consent, you can withdraw from it within 14 days and we refund it in full.
12.3 Services (MCP Hosted seat, plugin support years): you can withdraw within 14 days. If you expressly asked us to start the service during the withdrawal period, you pay an amount proportional to what we provided up to the moment you told us you were withdrawing: the price for the billing period multiplied by the days used, divided by the days in that period. If you did not ask, you pay nothing for the time the service ran.
12.4 How to withdraw. Tell us clearly within the withdrawal period, by email to [email protected], by post, or through the form on our Right of withdrawal page. You may use the model withdrawal form in the annex, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your message before the period ends.
12.5 Refund. We refund all payments received from you, minus any proportional amount under 12.3, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal. We use the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise; you do not pay any fees for the refund. When you withdraw, the license or service stops.
12.6 Business customers have no right of withdrawal.
13. Conformity and legal guarantee
13.1 We make sure our products have the features and functionality described on the product page and in the documentation at the time of your order.
13.2 Consumers have the legal guarantee for digital content and digital services. During your subscription we provide the updates, including security updates, that are needed to keep the product in conformity. If the product does not conform, you can ask us to bring it into conformity. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time, or the defect is serious, you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract. Please report a defect to us within a reasonable time after you discover it.
13.3 For business customers, articles 13.1 and 14 apply.
14. Liability
14.1 Consumers: we are liable in accordance with the law. Nothing in this article limits your statutory rights.
14.2 Business customers: our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage. We are not liable for indirect damage, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data and business interruption. These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness.
14.3 You are responsible for backups of your own data and for the actions you let an AI client perform through MCP on your systems.
15. Suspension and termination by us
15.1 We may suspend a license or service if a payment remains unpaid (see 7.4), if a payment is reversed, or if you seriously breach these terms, for example by misuse or by bypassing the license check. Where possible, we warn you first.
15.2 If the breach is serious and continues after a warning, we may end the contract. Consumers keep their statutory rights.
16. Complaints
If you have a complaint about a product, an order or our service, email [email protected] with your order number and a clear description. We confirm that we received your complaint and reply with a substantive answer as soon as possible. If we cannot solve it together, a consumer can bring the dispute before the competent court.
17. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version published when you place an order applies to that order. If we change the terms for running subscriptions, we tell you by email before the change takes effect. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel the subscription before it takes effect.
18. Applicable law and courts
18.1 Dutch law applies to these terms, to every purchase on addocore.com, to all contracts with us and to the use of addocore.com.
18.2 If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. You may bring a dispute before the court of the place where you live or before the competent Dutch court.
18.3 Disputes with business customers are submitted exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands.
