What do you buy in this shop?

You buy licenses for MCP Self-hosted, a Model Context Protocol server you run on your own hardware, plus the MCP add-ons that give Claude access to your own systems. Everything is a yearly license that renews through Mollie, and you manage it under My Account → MCP Self-hosted. New to the protocol? What is MCP explains it in five minutes.

The shop has four kinds of products. MCP Self-hosted is the server itself and the one product every installation needs. Tool add-ons each unlock one integration. An extra seat lets one more person or device connect. And the free skills are separate downloads that don’t need a license at all.

Which MCP add-ons are available?

8 tool add-ons are available, each for one system Claude can work with:

• Missive: look up conversations per customer, read them, and work with contacts and tasks; send messages once you enable write mode.
• WooCommerce: look up orders, products and customers; update order status, notes and stock in write mode. Several stores on one installation.
• Database: list tables, describe them and run queries on MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• WordPress: read and, in write mode, create posts, pages, media, menus and more through the REST API.
• Brain: a markdown knowledge base Claude can search, read and write, with optional git history.
• Lightspeed eCom: read products, orders, customers and coupons from one or more Lightspeed shops. Always read-only.
• Plesk: look up domains, clients, DNS, databases, logs and files on your Plesk server; manage them and run commands with Can make changes on.

How do MCP add-ons work with MCP Self-hosted?

An add-on is an entitlement on your MCP Self-hosted license, not a separate program. The mcp-core image already contains every tool. When the server starts, it checks its license with AddoCore and loads only the tools you are entitled to. A tool without an entitlement is never shown to Claude, whatever is in your .env.

That is why adding a tool later takes no reinstall and no new download. Buy the add-on, then run docker exec mcp-core npm run refresh-license or wait for the next license check. You get an email with the environment variables the new tool needs. Fill those in and run ./mcp-update.sh to restart with the new settings.

What do MCP add-ons and MCP Self-hosted cost?

MCP Self-hosted costs € 217,80 excl. VAT: € 180,00 per year and includes 3 seats and 1 activation. Tool add-ons start from € 72,60 excl. VAT: € 60,00 per year; each product page shows its own price. An extra seat costs € 18,15 excl. VAT: € 15,00 per year. Prices are shown with or without VAT depending on the toggle at the top of the page, and business customers in the EU can enter a VAT number at checkout.

Seats or activations: which one do you need more of?

Usually seats. An activation is one running mcp-core container. A seat is one person or device that connects to it, with its own token, its own set of tools and its own setting per tool: read-only or Can make changes. A team of five working against one server needs one activation and five seats: the 3 included plus two extra.

Self-hosted or hosted?

Everything above runs on your own server: your login details and data never leave your infrastructure. If you would rather not run Docker yourself, the MCP Hosted seat is a monthly product where we run the server for you, with the first month free. Self-hosted vs hosted MCP compares the two.

How do you get started?

Buy MCP Self-hosted and the MCP add-ons you need, download the zip from My Account, fill in the .env and run ./mcp-update.sh. The install guide walks through each step, and Connect Claude Desktop and Claude Code covers the client side.
