Addofy API deprecations and stability promise
Everything marked @api in an Addofy docblock is public: every hook in the hook reference, the classes and methods in the overview and the window.adba API. Each carries @since with the version it arrived in.
How a change is announced
- A public hook or method is only renamed or removed through
apply_filters_deprecated()ordo_action_deprecated(), or with a console warning in JavaScript. - The old name keeps working for at least one minor version of overlap.
- Classes and methods without
@apiare internal and may change in any release.
To see which new hooks arrived in which version, read hooks by version.
Deprecated now
Last checked for Addofy 2.12.1. No public hook or JavaScript API is deprecated. These PHP methods are:
| Deprecated | Since | Use instead |
|---|---|---|
Store::extension_prefs() | 1.6.0 | Settings\Prefs::extension_defs() |
Store::clean_extension_prefs() | 1.6.0 | Settings\Prefs::clean() |
They still work.
Removed
| Removed | In | Use instead |
|---|---|---|
Store::all_prefs() (deprecated since 1.6.0) | 2.34.0 | Settings\Prefs::effective() through the container service prefs |
