Seats, add-ons and read-only

Three words come back everywhere on this site and in your account. Here is what they mean.

Seat

One seat is one person, or one device, with their own tools and access. Each seat has its own personal link. With MCP Hosted you pay per seat. MCP Self-hosted includes 3 seats, and you can add more.

Add-on

An add-on is a tool your AI can use, like WooCommerce or Missive. You only pay for the add-ons you pick. With MCP Hosted you can also take All tools: every add-on on one seat for one price. See every add-on.

Read-only and Can make changes

Every tool starts read-only: your AI can look things up, but not change them. If you want your AI to change things, for example update an order status, switch on Can make changes for that tool on that seat. You can switch it off again at any time.

Login details

Login details are the API key or password AddoCore uses to reach your tool. You enter them once per seat. We store them encrypted and only use them for the questions you ask.
