Start with MCP Self-hosted
With MCP Self-hosted you run the server yourself. Your data and login details stay on your own server. It fits teams of two or more with someone who can run Docker.
What you need
- A server or computer that runs Docker.
- Someone who is comfortable with a terminal for the installation. After that, daily use happens in Claude.
- The login details of the tools you want to connect.
The steps
- Get your license on MCP Self-hosted. The first 14 days are free and 3 seats are included.
- Install the server with Docker. Install MCP Self-hosted with Docker Compose has every command.
- Add the login details of your tools. The setup guides show per tool what you need.
- Connect Claude for each seat. Connect Claude to an MCP server explains how.
Rather not run a server?
Then MCP Hosted is easier: same tools, and we run the server. Try MCP Hosted free for a month.
